The theme for our wedding is Vows of Sea & Sage
From the fields of Exeter to the mountains and shorelines of Hong Kong, and the gardens and lakes of Luxembourg, we've always felt most at ease and content in nature. Our wedding celebrates that love for the outdoors and the calm, open spaces we enjoy most.
We’d love for everyone to feel part of the atmosphere we’re envisioning. Our colors are soft, muted tones inspired by natural landscapes - think pastel colors.
We’re excited to celebrate love surrounded by warmth, happiness, and a color palette that reflects the relaxed, seaside feel of the day.
Your presence is the greatest present we could ask for. We don’t have a gift registry, but if you’d like to contribute to our honeymoon fund, we would be incredibly grateful 😊
As the wedding venue has a maximum capacity, we unfortunately are not able to accommodate plus ones at this stage. However, we will get a better picture of whether it is possible at a later stage, so feel free to let us know if this is something you wish and we will let you know as soon as we can!
It is likely that you will need a visa to go to Vietnam. However, we would suggest that you check this, as they do have exemptions for certain countries. For more information, please click here.
We would highly recommend downloading Grab here which is the "Uber" or taxi hailing app of South East Asia.
Hyatt Regency is approximately 11 km (around 20-25mins) from the airport.
We do have a code for our wedding guests to obtain a discount at Hyatt Regency. But if you would like to stay elsewhere, there are plenty of options! Danang is a touristic city, and Hyatt Regency is located on the beachfront where many other hotels have strategically located themselves as well. Plus, getting around by Grab (the "Uber" of South East Asia) is quick and easy, so even if you were to stay in a hotel in the city, it would be a 15 minute ride away!

It is a tropical country, so it will be hot (around 30 degrees celsius in the day). However, according to Accuweather, we are told that the weather in April is cooler and drier than usual, especially in the evenings (around 24 degrees celsius). Fingers crossed!
Apart from swimwear, wedding outfits, and your dance moves, suncream and bug spray would be recommended!
The official currency of Vietnam is the Vietnamese Dong ₫ or VND. Travelling around Da Nang and Hoi An, some restaurants do take card, however, most, especially street food vendors or small restaurants only take cash, so we would recommend having some cash on hand. If you're lucky, some do take USD, though we would only bring some if you have some spare on hand!
